Ingredient Review

Our review of Go! Solutions SKIN + COAT CARE Pollock Pate Dog Food begins with a detailed look at the food’s ingredients.

The first ingredient is De-Boned Alaskan Pollock. De-boned Alaskan pollock is a meat from white-fleshed marine fish of the Pollachius genus, caught in Alaskan waters and processed to remove bones. In pet food, de-boned Alaskan pollock can be a good source of protein, amino acids, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and many essential vitamins and minerals.

The second ingredient is Turkey. Turkey is an easily digested meat that’s relatively low in fat. In pet food, turkey might be the primary protein source or it may be part of a blend made with different proteins.

The third ingredient is Salmon Broth. Salmon broth is made by boiling salmon to obtain nutrients including fat, vitamins, and minerals. In pet food, salmon broth increases moisture and improves flavor.

The fourth ingredient is Turkey Broth. Turkey broth is the liquid that remains after turkey has been cooked. In pet food, turkey broth adds moisture, flavor, and aroma, along with some nutrients.

The fifth ingredient is Tapioca. Tapioca is a type of starch that comes from the cassava root. It is often used as a filler or binder, as well as a source of easily digested carbohydrates. In pet food, tapioca is often added to grain-free and gluten-free recipes.

When we analyzed the ingredients in Go! Solutions SKIN + COAT CARE Pollock Pate Dog Food, we found that most of the protein is derived from meat based sources.

Nutritional Analysis

Your adult dog needs a balance of macro and micronutrients to thrive. A food formulated for adult maintenance or all life stages is made to meet these needs. While there can be a lot of variation in actual calorie density, adult dog foods are generally intended to provide for basic calorie needs of the average active dog. In addition to satisfying their energy needs, these foods provide the protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, and other nutrients your adult dog needs to survive. Again, not all adult foods are the same, so you may have to search around for the right fit for your dog.

With that in mind, we’ve compared Go! Solutions SKIN + COAT CARE Pollock Pate Dog Food to the other 1439 wet dog food recipes in our database:
