Ingredient Review

Our review of Tylee's Human-Grade Turkey Recipe Frozen Dog Food begins with a detailed look at the food’s ingredients.

The first ingredient is Turkey Heart. Turkey heart is meat from the muscles that form a turkey’s heart. In pet food, turkey heart can be a good source of protein, iron, and other important nutrients.

The second ingredient is Turkey. Turkey is an easily digested meat that’s relatively low in fat. In pet food, turkey might be the primary protein source or it may be part of a blend made with different proteins.

The third ingredient is Turkey Liver. Turkey liver is a general term that can refer to fresh, frozen, cooked, or freeze dried liver from a turkey of any breed. The turkey liver in pet food is more than just a source of protein – it’s also a good source of vitamin A, copper, niacin, zinc, and other essential nutrients.

The fourth ingredient is Cranberries. In pet food, cranberries double as a source of healthy fiber and important antioxidants. Cranberries are high in vitamins A and C, plus they’re a good source of potassium.

The fifth ingredient is Zucchini. Zucchini is a vegetable that’s sometimes referred to as summer squash. In pet food, zucchini can be a good source of grain-free carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

When we analyzed the ingredients in Tylee's Human-Grade Turkey Recipe Frozen Dog Food, we found that most of the protein is derived from meat based sources.

Nutritional Analysis

A puppy needs plenty of calories to support their growth and development. In general, puppy foods are much higher in calories to help support all of the extra energy that goes into growth. Depending on your pup’s breed, they may need to continue eating puppy food for between 6 and 24 months. Small breeds tend to mature more quickly than large breeds. Make sure to ask your veterinarian how long your puppy should remain on a puppy formula.

With that in mind, we’ve compared Tylee's Human-Grade Turkey Recipe Frozen Dog Food to the other 1 wet frozen puppy food recipes in our database:

I loved this bc my picky eater and highly allergic to chicken Shih-poo truly ate it all up!! Looked forward to meal time. Would actually sit patiently while wagging his tail waiting for his Tylee’s beef recipe. So why 4⭐’s? When I switched Jax Kai to this fresh dog food I could see the benefits….. brighter eyes, less itching, more eating, all in twoweeks! Oh and of course his stool was firmer not wet/soft. [My main reason for the switch to fresh!!] So again 4⭐’s?
I can’t get it since it’s always out of stock! Please let me know where I can pick it up or order online. Chewy hasn’t had it since I learned about this wonderful product I want to get my boy back on asap!
