I’ve used this brand for about a year now. I think the food is healthy for them. Their poops reflect quality food & good digestion. However my dogs will eat a flavor (beef, duck, lamb etc.) for a day or two and then turn their nose up at it. I have started buying a variety of flavors and alternating them. The food is not available in my local stores so I have to order it. As I only seem to be able to order in cases, to get a variety I wind up with my pantry full of dog food.

I have three cats, and Vivien in particular is motivated by food and always has been. All three cats have been on Royal Canin digestive care dry cat food for about a year and a half now. It is the only food that worked well with my cat Abby who has an extremely sensitive stomach. It was such a blessing to have finally found one cat food that worked well with all three cats; I even noticed a positive difference in their coats as well.

However, Royal Canin recently changed the kibble which was working beautifully for my cats for not eating too fast and then throwing up the food. With this recent change in size I believe they also change the recipe because all three cats will not touch the food now. I’m frustrated because I’m sitting with a bag and a half of food one of which is unopen and that’s $40. It’s very unlikely and highly suspicious that all three cats at the same time would decide to not eat the food they gobbled up for the last year and a half.

This may be a coincidence but since I started feeding them the ne digestive care with the new kibble size, one of my cats got her first urinary track infection. That was in fact, the first time any one of my cats in over 30 years have ever had a UTI. Like I said it could be a coincidence but I’m questioning that mindset.

Now it’s back to the drawing board having to try new foods to make sure they don’t get diarrhea and I won’t upset Abby’s tummy. Why can’t companies leave well enough alone? Thank you very much.

The Turkey Recipe has a terrible odor. It smells like some sort of synthetic material. I am also a bit put off by the bamboo fiber. I was intending to switch from Ziwi Peak air dried dog food, but honestly the ingredients in Ziwi seem better. The other issue is the crumbling of the squares that make them unpalatable for the dog to eat. I recommend packaging air dried dog food in box containers instead of soft bags.

Our 10 year old female indoor cat seems to love the taste of the savory bites yummy chicken and veggies recipe, but it does seem quite a bit hard to shew. Do you have a product of the same taste and content that is softer (but not a canned product), just easier for her to chew?

For years my dog has scratched and scratched. We have tried many different dog foods. Taken her to the vet and she still scratches all the time, day and night. I switched her to Go solutions, skin + coat care Lamb recipe and she has no scratches at all. This is great. Wish I found this a long time ago.

This food was actually recalled from 2011-2012 under the manufacture ‘diamond pet foods’ for possible salmonella contamination. My mother bought this food for my dog on accident, my dog seems to like it but he’ll eat anything. will leave a review once he’s fully on it to see if it’s any better than the previous foods.

I bought a bag for my dogs. 2 out of 4 of my dogs began vomiting and got weak. They lost weight over night and threw up the whole day and part of today. I don’t know if it was a bad batch or what but I won’t ever feed this to my dogs again.

This was extremely informative. It has definitely helped me make a better decision. I feel based on your review Wellness White Fish meets the needs of my dog which is poultry sensitive. It is difficult to find dog food without poultry. I have decided to add 1/4 of his diet with The Farmer’s Dog beef recipe fresh foods this fresh food is grain free which will help to lower the high carb content of this food. Your feedback would be most appreciated for this decision,

Ok so, listen up, I’ve spent tons of money on the so called the best dog food out there, even Dr. Marty’s! My mixed terrier had this belly rash for several months, thinking it’s her dog food at time, so I gave into the expensive ones, didn’t clear up her belly rash by no means. Bought Purina One because I’ve always bought this brand years ago and never had issues with any of my previous dogs! She’s been on it now for a few months, rash disappeared, even her paw chewing has stopped. I’m sticking to Purina One from now On! Love you Purina don’t fix something that’s not broken!
